Navarre Hires Don Sopko as Vice President of Operations


MINNEAPOLIS, Feb. 26, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Navarre Corp. (Nasdaq:NAVR) ("Navarre"), a vertically integrated, multi-channel platform of e-commerce services and distribution solutions for retailers and manufacturers, has hired Don Sopko as vice president of operations. Don was previously the vice president of operations for Baker & Taylor, the world's largest book distributor, for 15 years.

In his new role, Don will oversee the company's operations organization and the activities of all fulfillment and distribution facilities throughout North America. He brings significant expertise in managing highly automated facilities with robust e-commerce fulfillment and retail distribution capabilities. Among other duties, Don will oversee the construction and implementation of equipment and systems in the company's new 770,000 square foot facility in Columbus, OH.
