Costa Mesa, Calif., Feb. 28, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Bespoke motorcycle and apparel company, Champions Moto, is pleased to announce the opening of its new online store, allowing customers to purchase the fashion label's hot rod and café racer inspired clothing designs. To launch the e-commerce website, Champions Moto will donate 10% of all purchases made through June to the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, California.
"The Petersen Automotive Museum is known as the epicenter of gearhead culture in Southern California," says Champions Moto Co-Founder Richard Varner. "We really wanted to give back to an organization that helps celebrate and preserve the history of classic motorcycles and the automobile and couldn't think of a better recipient than the museum."
The apparel, created by fashion icon and former vice president of design for Quiksilver, Jason Bleick, is quickly gaining popularity with famed actors, singers and the hot rod set alike. The comfortable fit and trendy designs of the clothing have already caught the attention of celebrities like Gwen Stefani, Matt Sorum of Guns N' Roses fame, actor Cash Warren and renowned car builder Jimmy Shine.
Currently the clothing consists of a variety of hats, T-shirts and hoodies. Popular designs include the line's "Salt Flat" and "210 MPH" T-shirts, which include graphics of Bonneville streamliners and hot rods from the 1950's. Champions Moto will further develop the line with sweaters, jackets and new T-shirt designs set to launch in the Spring of 2013. For more information on Champions Moto, visit www.championsmoto.com.
