GILBERT, S.C., March 11, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Avtec today announced sales growth of 130 percent in 2012 for its Scout with MOTOTRBO™ consoles. Avtec partners with Motorola Solutions to provide compatibility between its Scout consoles and Motorola radio systems for business and operations critical communications.

In partnership with Motorola Solutions, Avtec developed the direct IP wire-line interface between its Scout console system and multi-site digital trunked (Connect Plus) MOTOTRBO systems. Branning said Avtec is looking forward to new advances in the coming year. "Right now, we're very focused and excited about bringing an interface to the MOTOTRBO Linked Capacity Plus radios in 2013."
Avtec is a member of the MOTOTRBO Application Developer Program and has been recognized with a Certificate of Achievement from Motorola Solutions for its 2012 sales milestone.
