LONG ISLAND CITY, NY--(Marketwire - Mar 12, 2013) - Tunstall Americas, a leader in independent living technologies and 24/7 healthcare communication services, announces the opening of a new data and operations center in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. A grand opening ceremony is planned for Tuesday, April 16 at 4:30 pm, at the new location at 100 Freight Street in Pawtucket.
The new data and operations center is a state-of-the-art facility featuring high-speed and redundant communications infrastructure, industry leading telephony platform from Avaya, full disaster recovery model, and the highest security capability.

The 85,000 square foot office will support 24/7 operations 365 days/year. The center will employ 250 Rhode Island-based employees, many of which are new positions, as call center operators and medical support staff.
