Infogroup Maximizes GoTime Talent to Drive Real-Time Innovations


OMAHA, Neb., March 26, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Infogroup, the leading provider of high-value data and multichannel marketing solutions, announced today that it has made several internal promotions as it continues to maximize its talent and build out technology. The promotions include the co-founders of GoTime Corporation, which was acquired by Infogroup last year. Utilizing the cutting-edge technologies from the start-up, Infogroup was able to develop and launch the Data Axle™, which is the cornerstone of their real-time data and central to solutions across the business.

In addition, Infogroup acquired the Happy Hours App. Since its incorporation into the Infogroup product suite, the app has had approximately 1.5 MM downloads between Android and Iphone in the past year alone.

The co-founders of GoTime Corporation have been moved into key roles across data and product. The details are below:

Jeff Khadavi has been promoted to Acting President, Data Licensing. In this role, he will identify licensing and acquisition opportunities for the company. Khadavi was the former CEO and Co-founder of GoTime Corporation. Before GoTime, he was an associate at Centerline Capital Group, where he co-originated over $100MM of real estate loans and managed transaction execution. Prior to Centerline, Khadavi was an investment banker with Wachovia Securities in its leveraged finance group. Here he worked on syndicated senior debt transactions for corporate clients and financial sponsors to support leveraged buyouts and acquisitions in various industries. Khadavi graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Emory University with concentrations in finance and international business.

He will join the Infogroup Leadership Team, reporting to Mike Iaccarino, Chairman and CEO.

Joshua Juster has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Chief Product Officer for the Data Axle™. He will manage SMB products and offerings that interact with the technology from a global perspective, establishing alignment and optimization of resources. Prior to co-founding GoTime Corporation, Juster was a Program Manager at Microsoft where he worked on MSN Entertainment, Windows Live Mobile Search, XBox Live Video and Zune. He earned a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Engineering in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Devang Kothari has been promoted to Chief Technology Officer for the Data Axle™. In this role, he oversees all technical aspects of the Data Axle platform from the development of its features to server operations and performance. Prior to co-founding GoTime, Kothari worked for J.P. Morgan as an Associate in Identity and Access Management and for Ernst & Young as a consultant for Security and Technology Solutions. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Derek Edwards, CEO of Globys, a Big Data analytics company that specializes in contextual marketing for mobile operators, has been a long time strategic advisor to the GoTime founders. He shared his thoughts on the promotions:
