Mandatory upgrade of the SAPRI Trading Client rescheduled for May 2nd.


It has come to our attention that not all members received the initial market message regarding the mandatory upgrade of the SAPRI Trading client which was published on 28th February. We have therefore taken the decision to reschedule this upgrade for the 2nd of May.

Changes to N2EX auction parameters – (Member Test: 28th Feb – Production: 2nd May 2013)

To support the continued growth of the N2EX auction market, N2EX will introduce the following three parameter changes in SAPRI Trade:

•                Block order size limit will increase from 250 MW to 500 MW.

•                Number of block orders per portfolio will increase from 45 to 80.

•                Maximum number of link levels will increase from two to three, when linking blocks.

Upgrade of the Member Test Environment – 28th February 2013

These changes will be made within the SAPRI member test environment on Thursday 28thFebruary 2013. The test environment will be unavailable between 08:00 and 09:00 GMT. The new test version will be available for members from 09:00 GMT. 

We encourage our members to test the new SAPRI version in the Member Test environment prior to the scheduled upgrade in the production environment.

Upgrade of the Production Environment – 2nd May 2013

The SAPRI production environment will be unavailable between 12:00 and 14:00 BST on Thursday 2nd May 2013. The new version of the SAPRI Trade Client will be available for members from 14:00 BST. 

The N2EX Auction taking place on 3rd May 2013 for delivery on 4th May will be run with the new SAPRI version.

Software

The new version of the SAPRI Trading client will be available to download from 28th February for the Member test environment and from 2nd May for the production environment at this web address: https://www.n2ex.com/software

Members using the ClickOnce deployment of the SAPRI trade client on https://test.ukauction.n2ex.com/ will not be required to make any changes.

 

NB: This upgrade will not impact the SAPRI API.
