WASHINGTON, March 27, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Washington metropolitan area has experienced an increase in the total of Hispanic owned businesses, setting the region as the fourth fastest growing Hispanic market in the country. This impressive increase provides unique opportunities for business owners, federal agencies, as well as corporations to be an integral part of a determinant and prominent business aggregate.
In response to the surge of Hispanic businesses and their impact in the growth of the Washington area's economy, on April 2nd the Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GWHCC) will once again host its Fourth Annual Business Expo: Connections, Opportunities and Growth. The Expo is Washington's Hispanic business community premier event to create strategic alliances with participating government agencies, corporations, embassies, non-profits, small businesses, and local Hispanic community members.
Throughout the day, the Expo will offer panels and business development activities designed to guide participants in securing government and corporate procurement contracts, promoting their own businesses, doing business overseas, and more.
