The first webinar in the series will take place Friday, April 12, 2013, 9:00 a.m. PDT, 12:00 p.m. EDT, and will feature the keynote address from Lindamood-Bell Director and Co-founder, Nanci Bell, entitled Imagery: A Sensory-Cognitive Foundation for the Component Parts of Reading. It discusses the integral role imagery plays in reading and comprehension. Imagery is a sensory-cognitive function underlying the component parts of reading; word attack, word recognition, contextual reading, and reading comprehension.
