CHARLOTTE, NC--(Marketwired - Apr 3, 2013) - Premier Alliance Group, Inc., (
The scope of the project includes the installation of control systems that will allow the safe and systematic shutdown of two large aerator motors that are used during the oxidation process. An initial comprehensive audit, conducted by Premier Alliance engineers, identified the 120 kilowatts of energy use as an ideal opportunity to reduce consumption during high summer demand periods while maintaining full treatment capacity and full sanitation of water being pumped back into the Ventura River. OVSD continues to focus on energy efficiency and green energy solutions.
"This unique opportunity with OVSD allows us to combine several of our core competencies into a single, comprehensive project," said Rob Davis, Senior Vice President of Energy Services for Premier Alliance. "Our extensive background with each of the major utilities; including, energy, gas, water and sanitation made us the ideal choice for OVSD to assess and develop cutting edge solutions to an increasingly prolific problem in highly populous areas. Premier Alliance engineers have been designing and optimizing facilities like this for years, so combining extensive industry experience with our demand side management expertise and in-depth knowledge of the compliance issues surrounding water treatment certainly differentiates us among our peers."
