New Jersey Dentist Will Host Dentistry From the Heart -- Providing a Free Day of Dental Care

KEARNY, NJ--(Marketwired - Apr 10, 2013) - Dentistry from the Heart (DFTH) is a non-profit organization that seeks to provide people the opportunity to have a healthy smile. Dr. Harry Harcsztark, a New Jersey dentist, has partnered with the organization to help fulfill their mission while giving back to his local community at an upcoming event on May 3, 2013 at his office located at 837 Kearny Avenue, Kearny, NJ 07032.

DFTH is committed to providing free dental services nationwide to people who are in need of dental care. Dr. Harcsztark first heard of the organization at a dental course he attended in Atlanta, and DFTH piqued his interest as he has a history of volunteer dentistry work outside of the United States.

In the past, Dr. Harcsztark has volunteered his dental expertise aboard the US Navy hospital ship USNS Mercy and also given his time to a civilian/military initiative called Pacific Partnership that leads mission trips to Southeast Asia. He is excited to partner with DFTH and devote some of his time and experience locally. Since the inception of DFTH in 2001, the organization has helped over 50,000 people rejuvenate their smiles and Dr. Harcsztark is proud to contribute his expertise to his local community.

The free procedures Dr. Harcsztark will offer through DFTH include teeth cleanings, fillings, and extractions. While his overseas mission trips have focused on dental surgeries and disease treatment, DFTH recommends staying within the parameters of procedures that can be performed in a single day. The patients are seen on a first-come-first-serve basis. DFTH's goal is not only to provide patients with free services, but also to educate patients on healthy dental habits they can incorporate into their daily lives, encouraging the maintenance of clean teeth and disease-free gums.

Dr. Harcsztark continuously promotes dental awareness at his New Jersey dentistry practice and is looking forward to the opportunity to help these patients. Proper daily maintenance of a patient's teeth and gums are the foundation of a beautiful smile and can prevent more serious issues from developing in the future. In addition, Dr. Harcsztark notes that a patient's oral health is directly related to his or her overall health. Dr. Harry Harcsztark earned his dental degree at the New York University College of Dentistry. In addition to serving as a dentist in the United States Navy, Dr. Harcsztark has volunteered with the civilian/military initiative Pacific Partnership hosted by the U.S. Navy.
