Dane Ferguson is an extreme snowmobile athlete who has competed worldwide. His accolades include an X-Games gold medal in Snowmobile best trick. He held world records for longest backflip off a ramp and in the backcountry. Dane has been featured in over 30 extreme videos, including the coveted Crusty Demons. It should also be acknowledged that Dane travelled to Afghanistan to support the troops with other X-games athletes.
In addition to demonstrations, videos and competitions, Dane, an Alaskan native, is the President of the Alaska State Snow-Cross Lions Club. "It is painfully obvious that head injuries and concussions have become a serious issue in extreme sports. The significance of these injuries and the long-term effects are finally being well-documented; the consequences are rather daunting.
