The primary goal of the David Lynch Foundation is to fund the teaching and practice of Transcendental Meditation, helping at-risk social groups reduce stress in their daily lives.
Transcend Radio will help bring the benefits of Transcendental Meditation to a global audience, through two uniquely programmed radio stations. The first channel called The Organic Channel features meditation music and soothing sounds which will be streamed into TM Centers, spas & health resorts, health food markets, yoga centers, and more. The second channel called The Popular Channel features celebrity musicians who support the David Lynch Foundation by lending their voice to a regular appearance on Transcend Radio. The Popular Channel will include exclusive music and talk content, including unreleased and original music across a variety of genres, artist interviews and commentary, jam sessions, live concerts, and even radio dramas. Transcend Radio will officially launch on May 1st, 2013, with plans to include satellite and terrestrial radio stations.
