North-Western Europe (NWE) Stakeholder Forum UK – 14 June 2013

 London, May 6, 2013

As most of you are aware the NWE price coupling project is due to go live towards the end of this year.

The project is being driven by a partnership of four Power Exchanges and 13 Transmission System Operators  in the NWE region, working together to implement a solution to couple markets in Great Britain, Central Western Europe and the Nordic-Baltic regions.

This is an important development for the future of energy trading in the UK and we are very aware that there are many questions outstanding among our members over its full implications. With this in mind Nord Pool Spot on behalf of the project partners would like to invite you to an information session on the NWE price coupling solution on 14 June, to better explain both the solution itself and the implementation planning process.

Please see the attached ‘save the date’ letter for further information. We will inform members as soon as an agenda and registration form are made available, until then please save the date.

For further information on the NWE price coupling project please visit the dedicated European Integration section of the Nord Pool Spot Website: http://nordpoolspot.com/How-does-it-work/European-Integration/NWE/

We will be updating this with new information and developments in the European price coupling projects as they become available, so please feel free to use this resource.
