American Giant Launches Women's Wear

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - May 16, 2013) - American Giant, the California-based apparel brand known for making the highest-quality premium basics for men through a direct-to-consumer e-commerce model, today introduced a women's wear line. The first women's offerings will consist of both heavyweight and mid-weight sweatshirts and a jersey knit line, all made in America, sold exclusively online and built with American Giant's signature attention to detail, quality material and exceptional fit.

The first women's collection will include seven styles, all made from 100% pre-washed cotton, shrunk to fit. As with all American Giant products, the women's line is grown, sewn and finished entirely in the United States. Prices range from $19.50 to $89.00.

• T-Shirts: Racerback Tanks, Crew Neck Tees and V-neck Tees available in eleven colors of 4.8 ounce jersey fabric
• French Terry Sweatshirts: Full-zip available in five colors and Pullover available in four colors of 9.2 ounce French Terry cotton
• Heavyweight Sweatshirts: Full-zip available in four colors and Pullover and Full Zip Mock Neck available in three colors of 12.4 ounce cotton fleece

American Giant also released today a new men's French Terry sweatshirt line, including the classic silhouettes from the original American Giant line: the Full-zip Hoodie, Pullover Hoodie and Full-zip Track Jacket. The French Terry fabric is designed to offer the same quality that men have come to expect from American Giant in a lighter weight, perfect for spring and summer.
