Amsterdam, the Netherlands, May 20, 2013 - Ahold has repurchased 317,908 Ahold common shares in the period from May 13, 2013 up to and including May 17, 2013. The shares were repurchased at an average price of € 12.3126 per share for a total consideration of € 3.91 million. These repurchases were made as part of the € 500 million share buyback program announced on February 28, 2013.
The total number of shares repurchased under this program to date is 8,595,583 common shares for a total consideration of € 102.81 million.
