Premier Alliance Certified by the California Energy Commission as a Solar Performance Monitoring and Reporting Service Provider

CHARLOTTE, NC--(Marketwired - May 29, 2013) - Premier Alliance Group, Inc. (OTCQB: PIMO), an Energy solutions integrator and Operational Risk solutions firm providing domain expertise and 360° Intelligence Delivery with a focus on profitability and sustainability, today announced that its Energy and Sustainability Division has been officially certified by the California Energy Commission as a Solar Performance and Monitoring Service (PMRS) Provider.

The California Solar Initiative (CSI) offers financial incentives for the installation of solar PV and thermal systems throughout the state. In many cases those incentives are critical for the system to be financially viable. However, for solar PV systems over 10 kW these lucrative incentives are performance based and therefore the CSI requires real time monitoring be provided by a certified PMRS provider. Receiving this certification means Premier Alliance meets the specific requirements for monitoring and delivering system performance data to the CSI program administrator, which is then used to calculate the value of the incentive earned by the system. Premier Alliance will not only be able to offer this value add service to its existing and future solar customers, but to any other solar PV system owner throughout the state of California.
