Amsterdam, the Netherlands, June 3, 2013 - Ahold has repurchased 697,047 Ahold common shares in the period from May 27, 2013 up to and including May 31, 2013. The shares were repurchased at an average price of € 12.8225 per share for a total consideration of € 8.94 million. These repurchases were made as part of the € 500 million share buyback program announced on February 28, 2013.
The total number of shares repurchased under this program to date is 10,095,872 common shares for a total consideration of € 121.85 million.
