GUELPH, Ontario, June 5, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- LifeLearn, Inc. announced today that Dr. Mark Stephenson, president and chief executive officer, will assume a new business development role as Chief Corporate Development and Administrative Officer. James Carroll, chief operating officer, will assume the role of President and Chief Operating Officer to manage and grow LifeLearn's core businesses, including the company's veterinary client communications and Corporate Solutions custom digital media development units.
"LifeLearn has experienced excellent performance in the animal health industry and has built an infrastructure to support strong and sustainable growth," said Stephenson. "Now, our goal is to expand into other vertical markets where our core competencies can benefit new customers. This requires a new focus and attention, and these executive roles will allow the company to do just that."
Dr. Stephenson will oversee core administrative responsibilities for the company but will also focus on business development opportunities in areas such as One Health, consumer and other medical verticals. Working with Carroll, he will also continue to foster key strategic partnerships with like-minded organizations for the company's core animal health business.
