DAYTON, Ohio, June 5, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MacAulay-Brown, Inc. (MacB), a leading National Security company providing innovative engineering and technical solutions to Defense, Intelligence, Homeland Security and Federal agencies, announced today that three of its employees were honored for their commitment to the Electronic Warfare (EW) and Information Operations (IO) industry by the Association of Old Crows (AOC) Kittyhawk Chapter. The award ceremony was held on June 4 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Beavercreek, Ohio.
For the second year in a row, Michael Woods, Program Manager and EW Analyst at MacB, took home the Program Management Award. He received the award based on his significant contributions in managing the Air Force EW Capability Investment Strategy and other EW analytic efforts. In addition, Woods was recognized for helping the Air Force meet its goals as outlined in the CSAF Electronic Warfare Vision 2030.
Mike Gangl, Senior Systems Engineer at MacB, was presented with the Electro-optical/Infra-red (EO/IR) Award. Gangl's expertise, experience and achievements were instrumental in the success of several critical advanced Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) programs that the Air Force is using to develop its next generation ISR systems.
In addition to the competitive awards above, the Kittyhawk Chapter also announced that Keith Carter, EW Systems Engineer at MacB, was nominated to join the AOC Technology Hall of Fame. Eighteen members of the coveted AOC Technology Hall of Fame are current or former MacB employees. The high number of MacB inductees results from the company's long history of work in Electronic Combat, as well as its commitment to hiring the best and brightest employees and fostering a culture of professional growth and satisfaction.

In a related development, Keith Everly, EW Test Manager at MacB, was elected to a two-year term as President of the AOC Kittyhawk Chapter.
Winners of the AOC Kittyhawk Chapter awards are also entered to compete for national awards in their respective categories to be presented at the 50th Annual AOC International Convention and Symposium, which will be held October 27-30 in Washington D.C.
