LOS ANGELES, June 5, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Azteca 54 Los Angeles presented its upcoming line-up for the 2013-2014 television season at the 2nd annual Golf Tournament and Upfront programming presentation on June 3, 2013 at the Golf Club in Palos Verdes Estates.

The weather was perfect for the golf tournament and the beautiful backdrop made for a spectacular evening with over 250 advertisers, executives, media and celebrities in attendance for the Upfront presentation.
The presentation opened with a skit featuring the talent from Ventaneando that had everyone laughing and introduced the CEO of Azteca America, Martin Breidsprecher. He reinforced Azteca America's commitment of producing more shows in the U.S. as is the case with the two morning shows, "El Coffee Break" and "Entre Nos" and the reality musical show, "Quiero Ser Grupero", now going into its third season.
Khaled Abdelwahed, Vice President and General Manager of Azteca 54, presented the line-up for 2013-2014 season as well as the unique opportunities that the station offers to advertisers with branded entertainment.
The night ended with special performances from alumni of La Academia which included Carolina Soto, from La Academia Bicentenario, Samuel Castelán, winner of La Academia 5th generation, Cynthia Rodriguez, La Academia 4th generation and most recently host of Quiero Ser Grupero, and Yanilen from La Academia 2011 and La Isla. Other celebrities at the event included Chacho Gaytán music director of Azteca Music, Jorge Garralda, of "A Quien Corresponda" and host of Azteca America's signature event, Juguetón. Also at the event were the hosts of "El Coffee Break", "Entre Nos" and "Quiero Ser Grupero".
