SYLVANIA, OH--(Marketwired - Jun 11, 2013) - Root Inc., the strategy execution company, today announced the launch of a free, online tool for organizations called the Root Strategy Engagement Assessment. Leveraging expertise from working with organizations of all sizes to successfully execute strategies, Root has created a tool that enables organizational leaders to monitor how they are doing with their own strategy development, engagement, and execution.
Root's insight from working with more than 800 companies in the last 20 years shows that most organizations continually refine between six to eight major business processes, such as customer acquisition or supply chain and product/service development. This assessment focuses on the one critical process often missing from the business arsenal: strategy execution through people. Many times an organization and its leaders develop a new strategy, but never get it off the ground. Root's new assessment can help them uncover where in the strategy execution process they may have specific challenges and what they need to do differently to meet their goals.
"Successfully launching a new business strategy is complicated. There are a lot of moving parts, and even once it's rolled out, the sustainment of it brings its own set of challenges," said Jim Haudan, CEO, Root Inc. "Approaching strategic engagement and execution as a process can make an enormous difference in an organization's ability to achieve successful outcomes. We created the assessment to help leaders diagnose where they may be missing key steps in the process or identify areas where they can continue to improve. They can then use this information to prioritize where to focus efforts to deliver better results."
The survey lives online and takes approximately seven minutes to complete. It looks at eight key steps that support successful strategy execution using a methodical process. This includes getting clear and aligned at the leader level around where the organization is today and where they want the organization to be in the future -- ensuring that they are driving strategic engagement at every level of the business and that they have a clear process for sustaining the strategy over time. Organizations can use this tool to assess a new strategy, as well as monitor sustainment over time.
