Austin, Texas, July 2, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Circuit of The Americas is offering multi-night, on-site camping options to fans during the 2013 FORMULA 1 UNITED STATES GRAND PRIX, set for Nov. 15-17. Race fans can purchase dry camping spaces that include four (4) general admission tickets to the three-day sports and entertainment event. There are more than 100 spaces available for $998 per campsite (including tickets), and fans can buy additional three-day general admission tickets for $169 per person. Each dry camping space is located in Parking Lot M off of Elroy Road near the Circuit's famed hairpin turn, Turn 11. The price includes one (1) 20-foot by 45-foot camping space and 24-hour security with in- and out-privileges. Electricity, water and waste services, as well as an extra space for trailers and/or tow vehicles, are available for an extra charge. Dry camping spaces do not come with RV hook-ups for water and waste. The lot will open to campers beginning at 7 a.m. CST on Thursday, Nov. 14, and will close at noon on Monday, Nov. 18, following's Sunday's Grand Prix.
A popular offering at many motorsports venues, dry camping spaces serve as an alternative camping experience to the premium RV parking spaces offered at Circuit of The Americas.
