(AS&E) (Nasdaq:ASEI), a leading worldwide supplier of innovative X-ray detection solutions, announced today that it has received a multi-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract from a government agency, valued up to $60 million, for the service and maintenance of its AS&E X-ray inspection systems in support of counter-drug and anti-terrorism missions.The first task order has been funded for $11.2 million. AS&E will provide support services including all maintenance services, logistics, parts, and program management required to sustain the agency's inspection systems.
