JANESVILLE, WI--(Marketwired - Jul 9, 2013) - Janesville School District students will soon have the ability to not only view the instructors content in real time on their iPads but also capture, annotate, collaborate, take notes and save their work using a new software called DisplayNote. The software allows content to be shared and presented amongst students and lets them interact in a creative and convenient way. It works across a large range of platforms (Windows, MAC, Android and iOS) and presenters can use a traditional laptop or desktop computer, ideally connected to an interactive projector or large format touch screen. The integrated whiteboard tools allow annotation over any kind of media, software and content.
Janesville decided to implement DisplayNote after consulting with classroom technology provider Tierney Brothers. "We were looking to enhance the technology we've already implemented with additional tools to advance student achievement through collaboration tools," said Janesville School District CIO Robert Smiley. "We looked across the market at all other options, but this was the only solution that provided a comprehensive and rich feature set in single solution.
