Miles Design wins national SMPS marketing award for founder's book.

INDIANAPOLIS, IND., Aug. 5, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Indianapolis branding firm Miles Design announced today that their founder's first book, Bold Brand, took home second place honors in the 36th annual SMPS (Society for Marketing Professional Services) National Marketing Communications Awards best book or monograph category. Awards were handed out in Orlando, Florida, at the Awards Gala during the 2013 SMPS national conference Build Business: Dream Big.

The SMPS Marketing Communications Awards program is the longest-standing, most prestigious awards competition that recognizes excellence in marketing communications by professional services firms in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) design and building industry.

Winning entries were judged relative to the project's marketing objectives, content, measurable results and overall budget. Judges described Bold Brand as, "very thoughtful," and "first rate."
