New York, Aug. 5, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MicroEdge, LLC, the leading provider of solutions to the giving community worldwide, announced today the release of AngelPoints 2013.4, the latest update to its system that helps corporations coordinate, track and measure the success of their employee engagement efforts.
AngelPoints' integrated Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) solutions have helped some of the world's largest and most respected companies engage their employees to make a positive impact in their company and in the communities they serve. Today, AngelPoints solutions for employee volunteering, payroll giving, matching gifts, disaster response, dollars for doers, and sustainability serve more than 80 corporations and millions of employees around the globe.
This release marks the fourth upgrade to the AngelPoints system in 2013. AngelPoints 2013.4 delivers a variety of improvements to the system's Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) module. These enhancements make it easier for banks and other financial institutions to identify low income communities in which to conduct CRA-qualifying volunteer events, and facilitate easier tracking and reporting of their efforts in those communities. Previous releases of AngelPoints in 2013 have delivered a spectrum of additional enhancements, such as the ability for corporations to better deliver targeted volunteer opportunities and program information to employees across regional locations, and easier management of defined volunteer groups. Other system upgrades in 2013 have included additional reporting capabilities and the ability for companies to more easily to get employees' friends and family involved in company volunteer events.
"This release highlights our continued efforts to develop and grow the AngelPoints solution to meet the evolving needs of companies of all types and sizes," says Phoebe Jewett, MicroEdge's Director of Product Management. "Corporations are increasingly finding employee engagement to be a priority. By providing them with tools that streamline program management and increase efficiency, we are helping them minimize the time spent on administration and maximize the impact their programs have in their companies and the communities they serve."
