LA JOLLA, CA--(Marketwired - Aug 13, 2013) - The only thing better than enjoying an amazing meal is enjoying an amazing meal that helps out someone who may not be at the table that night. With this in mind, the San Diego Marriott La Jolla has teamed up with the Susan G. Komen Foundation to participate in the organization's Dine Out event from August 28 to 29, 2013.
Dine Out for the Cure raises money for breast-cancer research by enlisting eateries to donate a percentage of their revenue from a certain day. Diners can choose among options ranging from coffee shops to more formal restaurants, including the San Diego Marriott's beautiful La Jolla restaurant, Amuse.
As one result of a substantial, $17-million renovation, Amuse is the hotel's new restaurant and bar. Featuring an outdoor patio and fire pit that's perfect for drinking in La Jolla's enviable seaside climate, as well as a multimedia experience in the great room, Amuse is open for lunch and dinner. Guests can look forward to sampling local ingredients composed in creative, regional dishes at Amuse, while washing it all down with one of the San Diego craft beers showcased on the menu.
When guests visit Amuse during the Dine Out event, however, they can enjoy more than just a great meal in an idyllic atmosphere. This La Jolla wedding venue is, after all, a destination for many reasons, from its elegantly contemporary new lobby, to its salsa dancing offered three times a week. Located near the University of California at San Diego, the hotel is also near shops, galleries and stunning natural attractions like Torrey Pines State Park, so there is plenty to see and do before or after the meal.
Whether guests come for the food, the cause or the experience, Amuse at the San Diego Marriott La Jolla is sure to be the culinary highlight of their week.
