NCC to construct highway north of Oslo for SEK 1,235 million


NCC is to construct a four-lane highway in Hadeland, one of the major traffic
routes between Oppland County and Oslo. The Gran-Jaren section of Highway 4 will
be a total of 9.3 kilometers long. The order amounts to SEK 1,235 million and
will be registered in the third quarter of 2013.
The highway construction also includes a 1.7-kilometer-long two-lane tunnel, two
major overpasses, 11.4 kilometers of local roads and several structures and
other projects along the highway.The highway project on the Gran-Jaren section
will be implemented as a collaborative project by NCC Norway and NCC Sweden.
Many infrastructure projects have expanded in recent years and NCC has the
opportunity to capitalize on resources from throughout the Nordic region.

The project is scheduled for completion on December 16, 2016 and the order will
be registered in both the NCC Construction Norway (60 percent) and NCC
Construction Sweden (40 percent) business areas.
