La-Z-Boy Honored With RMHC Outstanding Stewardship Award

OAK BROOK, IL--(Marketwired - Aug 28, 2013) -  La-Z-Boy was honored last week at the Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC®) International Conference as the 2013 recipient of the RMHC Outstanding Stewardship Award. Through this Award, the family-centered nonprofit recognizes corporations whose commitment and support exceeds expectations in helping to support the mission of the Charity.

La-Z-Boy began its support of RMHC in 2008 with the donation of furniture to RMHC Chapters in the USA and Canada. Since then, the company has increased its support extending its donation to RMHC Chapters in Australia, New Zealand and Asia Pacific. With the donation of over 5,000 pieces of furniture to date, the Company and its network of owners have been an integral part of the Charity's ability to provide comfort, care and compassion to families and their children through the Ronald McDonald House® and Ronald McDonald Family Room® programs.
