Marble Security Names Former McAfee Exec Chris Kenworthy as Chief Revenue Officer

SUNNYVALE, Calif., Sept. 3, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Marble Security, Inc., a leading enterprise mobile security provider, today announced the appointment of former McAfee executive Chris Kenworthy to the position of senior vice president and chief revenue officer.

Kenworthy brings to Marble deep expertise in enterprise security and a proven track record in customer acquisition and growth that most recently includes launching and expanding McAfee's mobile and enterprise security businesses. Previously, he has built several successful security companies in the global enterprise market.

"Chris has demonstrated his ability to bet on winning technology and rapidly scale enterprise security companies," said Bill Gossman, CEO of Marble. "His focus on securing the enterprise and expertise leading high growth technology businesses is a strong combination that will help us seize the tremendous opportunity we have in reinventing the mobile security market."

Most recently, Kenworthy served as McAfee's senior vice president of Global Enterprise and Mobile and holds the distinction of having created McAfee's mobile security businesses while running its enterprise business segment.

In his 20 years of experience in the enterprise security and IT market, Kenworthy was part of the executive leadership at four previous security companies, among them, Foundstone (McAfee) and Xcert (RSA); scaling sales teams to achieve global expansion and ultimately leading to successful acquisitions.

"The fact that Marble uniquely addresses enterprise risk and mobile security challenges, something others have failed to do, is why I found the Marble opportunity compelling," said Kenworthy. "Enterprises are now becoming aware that 'plain-old-MDM' (Mobile Device Management) products fall far short of protecting enterprises with mobile users. Marble's cloud service provides effective and affordable solutions that block the real-world mobile threats enterprises face every day. I am eager to be joining the Marble team and accelerating their global expansion with market-leading solutions."
