Zebra Technologies announced the launch the "Imagine More" Facebook contest, which challenges the public to submit ideas on how Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology could be used to solve anything from a simple household problem to a global social issue.
Throughout the duration of the contest, qualifying participants will be eligible to win prizes including gift cards, electronics and Zebra Technologies promotional merchandise. At the end of the contest, one grand prize winner will be selected by a panel of RFID technology experts and given the opportunity to bring their RFID idea to life through $10,000 worth of Zebra Technologies solutions and the consultative support of a Zebra engineer.

How:
Once accessing the "Imagine More" contest Zebra Technologies' global Facebook page, participants simply enter their name, phone number, email address and a brief description of their idea that applies RFID technology. Participants can also upload supporting photos or videos to enhance their submissions.
For those interested in participating, but less familiar with RFID technology, they can view recent submissions from other participants that will stream on the details page of the contest application for inspiration. Zebra also features brief descriptions of RFID application examples on the details page to provide further context to the possibilities of the technology. After participants officially submit their idea, they are also encouraged to share their concept by referencing the hash tag #RFIDea across Facebook in addition to any other social media channel to continue the innovation dialogue.
