Game Insight Unveils First Tank Models for Cross-Platform MMO Tank Domination

MOSCOW and SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 12, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Game Insight, a world leader in mobile/social games, presents the first set of mobile armor from Tank Domination, the first cross-platform tank MMO simulator for mobile devices, which will debut on iPad later this year.

This first set of tanks includes war machines that were designed and put into service by both the Soviet army and modern-day Russian military in different timeframes. Although not all tanks in Tank Domination saw regular combat—some of the game's tanks are actually prototypes that may not have seen battle—all tanks announced today will be playable in the game. The first revealed vehicles include light tanks, such as the Soviet-era PT-76, BMP-3, and BMP-3K, medium tanks such as more recent Soviet armors like the T-72, the T-80, and the diesel-powered T-80UD, and heavy tanks like the Russian Federation prototype tank, the Black Eagle (Object 640) and the modified version known as the Black Eagle MT. The game will also feature real-world vehicles from other nations to be revealed later.

Tank Domination will be the first cross-platform tank MMO simulator for mobile devices. The game takes place in a not-too-distant future in which the world's governments have fallen by the year 2023 and been replaced by massive mercenary companies embroiled in an all-out global war. Players engage in combat as tank commanders in service of these corporate armies, supplied with cutting-edge weapons and equipment in a never-ending war for the planet's remaining resources.

In Tank Domination, players will take the role of a mercenary tank captain, fighting their way through explosive, real-time, synchronous battles against real opponents in always-on multiplayer matches. The game offers fast-paced, head-to-head combat in massive matches for up to 20 players (10 versus 10). Upgrade your vehicles, master combined-armor tactics, and conquer the world! Tank Domination is scheduled for release later this year on iPad.
