SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - Sep 25, 2013) - ClearSlide, provider of the leading sales engagement solution, today announced that it has recently completed an examination in conformity with Service Organization Control 2 (SOC 2) Reporting on Controls at a Service Organization for the as of date of May 31, 2013 that was performed by leading independent auditor, Deloitte & Touche LLP.
Completion of the SOC 2 Type I examination indicates that the design of ClearSlide's processes, procedures and controls have been formally evaluated and meet or surpass the rigorous standards of security and compliance. This examination also included specific investigation and verification of the company's design of controls related to confidentiality and information security.
SOC 2 was launched by the AICPA in 2011 to address the need for assurance services resulting from the proliferation of outsourcing options available to businesses.
