New number of shares in Handelsbanken

Due to an exchange of convertible notes in Svenska Handelsbanken AB, the number
of Class A shares has increased by 5 909 shares and the number of votes has
increased by 5 909. Following the increase, the total number of shares in
Handelsbanken is 635 472 367 of which 623 721 924 are Class A shares and 11 750
443 are Class B shares. The total number of votes in Handelsbanken is 624 896
968. The share capital amounts to SEK 2 954 946 506.55 after the increase.
