Nationally Syndicated Talk Radio Host to Address Nutrition Conference in Atlanta

WASHINGTON, DC, Oct. 21, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- A prominent homeopathic practitioner who personally overcame chronic disease with natural medicine will bring his knowledge to the 14th annual international Wise Traditions conference next month in Atlanta.  Robert Scott Bell, DA Hom, will present his lecture "Health Sovereignty and Gastrointestinal Recovery--The Power (and Freedom) to Heal is Yours!"

The alternative health event will take place on November 8-11, 2013 at the Sheraton Downtown Atlanta Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia. This event is open to the public and will look at the benefits of nutrient-dense foods and holistic therapies for healing chronic disease.  The conference is of interest to physicians, nutritionists, nurses, chefs, farmers and health-conscious consumers.

For over twenty-four years Robert Scott Bell has applied the principles of natural medicine, whole foods, healthy fats and the power of belief.  A broadcaster since 1999, Bell shares his knowledge of the healing power within us all. The Robert Scott Bell Show will also be broadcast LIVE  from Wise Traditions from 3-5 PM EST  Friday Nov. 8 and Sunday 1-3 PM EST on Natural News Radio and Genesis Communications Network, with rebroadcasts via UK Health Radio and Digital Radio 103 in Australia.

Robert Scott Bell joins Dr. Stephanie Seneff, PhD, and Louisa Williams, MS, DC, ND., and forty other speakers at this year's conference. The theme is "Holistic Therapies for Chronic Disease."  The speakers will examine non-toxic treatments for cancer, autism, seizure disorders, digestive problems and thyroid disorders, among others.

The annual conference is sponsored by the Weston A. Price Foundation, an educational non-profit focused on promoting traditional foods, rich in essential nutrients, including meats and organ meats from pastured animals, wild seafood, eggs, butter and full-fat dairy products.

A major highlight of the conference will be a day-long tour of farms near the Atlanta metro area.  The diverse conference program includes a traditional foods cooking demonstration, posture and high interval training exercise classes, as well as, lectures on nutrition, homeopathy and raw dairy products.

The conference will also include "Butterworld," a first ever traveling exhibition of butter-making tools from the 17th through 20th centuries.  The collection contains rare dairy artifacts from around the world.

Full and daily registrations are available: the registration fee includes admissions to the lectures and exhibit hall and includes five delicious meals. In addition, attendees can purchase tickets to several fundraisers for the Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund, a non-profit organization committed to protecting consumer access to nutrient dense foods. There will be a fundraising dinner on the evening of November 7, and fundraising breakfasts on the mornings of November 8, 9 and 10.
