School of Rock Proves Rock & Roll Lives on as a Universal Language


BURR RIDGE, Ill., Oct. 22, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- After 15 years and over 125 schools open, School of Rock is creating the world's next generation of rockers, both in the U.S. and overseas. The performance-based music franchise is expanding outside the U.S. and opening its doors internationally throughout Mexico, Canada, Brazil, Panama, the Philippines, and Australia.

With over 120 schools in the U.S., the School of Rock franchise is beginning to establish itself internationally with locations in Mexico, Brazil, Canada, Panama, and the Philippines. As South America continues to celebrate and groove to classic '80s rock, the music franchise has development plans in Chile for 2013. Also this year, the School of Rock has plans to grow even further in London, as well as in Australia through a partnership with the music shop Big Music, which is heading their local program.
