Renowned Physician Executive Reed Tuckson, MD, to Speak at 4th Annual Health IT Leadership Summit

ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwired - Oct 29, 2013) - Leaders and innovators from across the nation will come together on November 12, 2013, at the historic Fox Theatre for the 4th annual Health IT Leadership Summit, focusing on "Technology's Role in Revolutionizing Healthcare." Featured speaker Reed Tuckson, MD, Managing Director, Tuckson Health Connections, LLC, and former Executive Vice President and Chief of Medical Affairs at UnitedHealth Group, will address "The Pragmatic Challenges for Implementing Innovation in the Evolving Healthcare Landscape."

Tuckson, one of Modern Healthcare magazine's "50 Most Powerful Physician Executives," is well suited to speak on the practicalities of implementing healthcare innovation. In addition to his tenure at UnitedHealth, he has also held leadership positions at the American Medical Association, Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science, the March of Dimes Birth Defects Foundation, and has acted as Commissioner of Public Health for the District of Columbia.
