WEST COVINA, CA--(Marketwired - Nov 7, 2013) - E FUN, a consumer electronics designer and manufacturer of mobile lifestyle products, announces its newest digital pen for computers. Using ultrasonic and infrared technologies, the patented APEN MoFunTouch pen easily converts any monitor or laptop into a touchscreen device. Bundled with the BlueStacks App Player, users can play more than 750,000 Android touch-enabled smartphone apps and games full screen on a Windows or Mac computer.
The BlueStacks App Player software allows anyone to play any mobile app on a desktop, laptop or Windows tablet. It was launched for PCs in March 2012 and a Mac version was added in June. The company surpassed 10 million users in May 2013. The APEN MoFunTouch pen gives users the ability to not only play mobile apps on their computer, but also open programs, folders, and files; search the Internet; access e-mails; draw; sign digital documents; shift to background programs; close applications; and so much more with the flick of a pen.
"We are proud to introduce the second generation of our Touch 8 digital pen and continue driving innovation in this product category with unique out-of-box user experiences," said Jason Liszewski, managing director and VP of sales for E FUN. "With the sharp rise of mobile apps, we decided to partner with BlueStacks to give users the ability to play the most popular Android apps on their desktops with touch abilities."
The APEN MoFunTouch pen comes with a cordless digital pen, detachable receiver, and a USB cable connection to the desktop or laptop. It offers plug-and-play simplicity; there are no drivers to download. A user simply needs to attach the receiver to the edge of the screen using the provided magnetic clip, and then connect the USB cable. Once the computer is turned on, they can start enjoying touchscreen capabilities and play Android apps and games with the MoFunTouch pen.
Other features of the APEN MoFunTouch pen are up to 26" coverage area, 500 hours of continuous writing/hovering battery life, and absolute positioning. The MoFunTouch pen is compatible with Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8 and Mac OS.
The APEN MoFunTouch pen is available now at Newegg.com (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826423001) for $59.99.
