910 Million SEK agreement between SAS and Apollo

SAS and Apollo continue their long working relationship, signing an agreement
for the summer season once again. The agreement is for 2014 and involves SAS
flying Apollo’s customers from 17 different locations in Sweden, Norway and
Denmark. It is worth SEK 910 million.
It has been confirmed that SAS and Apollo will continue their partnership, which
goes back many years. Apollo has chosen SAS as their main external airline
partner, alongside their own airline company Novair. Important factors for
Apollo during the procurement process included the fact that SAS provides a
flexible fleet and has safe and reliable production with good punctuality.

“We’re extremely proud that Apollo has chosen us to be their partner again. Our
fleet enables Apollo to offer their customers direct flights from many different
Scandinavian destinations. We are looking forward to welcoming their customers
on board with us at SAS,” says Annelie Nässén, VP Global Agent Sales, SAS.

”We have cooperated with SAS for many years. The flexibility it gives us, apart
from our own airline Novair, to use external airlines is important, especially
in turbulent times. Our partnership with SAS allows us to quickly redirect
capacity. A recent example is the transfer of capacity from Egypt to new
destinations such as Morocco that we just performed”, says Mats Dahlquist, CEO
of Kuoni Nordic.

This partnership allows Apollo to offer summer departures from 17 different
locations in Sweden, Norway and Denmark to more than 20 destinations in the
world. The cities where flights will depart from in Sweden are Stockholm,
Gothenburg and Malmö.
