LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwired - Nov 26, 2013) - CAMS, LLC, the leader in providing online operators with payment connectivity, Know Your Customer (KYC) verification, and geo-location services proudly announces that they have been granted a Transactional Waiver to provide services in New Jersey. The Transactional Waiver was granted pending the review and approval of a CSIE 92(a)-level gambling license from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE).
The CSIE 92(a) is the highest level of licensure attainable. Each qualifying company must undergo considerable scrutiny and prove that their key personnel demonstrate good character, honesty and integrity. Furthermore, the qualifying company must demonstrate financial stability, corporate integrity and responsibility. In addition, all qualifying companies must not have engaged in any conduct that is prohibited by New Jersey's Casino Control Act.
"CAMS entered the New Jersey market with the intention to lead," said Matthew Katz, CEO of CAMS. "By attaining a CSIE 92(a) license, which is the gold standard in New Jersey's licensing spectrum, we will confirm to our clients that CAMS is willing to undergo the highest scrutiny in order to earn their business."
Using proprietary and industry-leading applications, CAMS provides merchants in the gaming industry with the tools they need to reduce risk, comply with regulation and increase profitability. Merchants leverage CAMS' expertise in payment connections, Know Your Customer services, geo-location and fraud management -- all through a single integration, thereby saving time, money and valuable resources.
Licensure is considered the keystone of the industry's regulatory system. Each casino operator, owner and service provider, along with their employees are required to meet the statutory requirements of good character, honesty, integrity and financial stability.
CAMS is currently poised to provide service to 4 operators within the New Jersey market. Additional partnerships are forthcoming.
The CSIE 92(a) chapter of New Jersey's Casino Control Act concerns Casino Service Industry Enterprises (CSIE). Section 92(a) further specifies that those entities which supply services directly related to the operation of the CSIE must undergo rigorous scrutiny prior to being licensed by the DGE.
