The buildings feature a 12,000 sf Chemainus Foods Store, a new 8,800 sf Rexall store, a BC Liquor Store, the regional Library and several enticing local merchants serving the local community as well as an extraordinary number of seasonal visitors. This will be Anthem's fourth acquisition in BC over the past 18 months.
On November 30, 2013, Anthem acquired the English Estates Shopping Centre, a 65,000 sf grocery anchored neighborhood shopping centre fronting on Highway 2A, in Lacombe, Alberta. The Co-Op grocery store is complemented by Co-Op liquor store and gas bar, a Pharmasave drug store, Boston Pizza and other national, regional and local tenants.
