CHICAGO, Dec. 10, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Officials representing Spaghetti Warehouse, Flat Top Grill and Stir Crazy Fresh Asian Grill restaurants today unveiled an ambitious holiday promotion, the purpose of which is to provide 30,000 meals as a donation to a host of local food banks in the communities in which the three restaurants chains have locations.
Entitled the "12 Days of Giving", the three restaurant chains will donate a portion of the proceeds from each dessert and appetizer sold in all of their locations across the country from Dec. 12th to Dec. 23rd to local food banks. Through the restaurants' participation in this campaign, a $1 donation will provide for three meals to be served at a local food bank.
"We invite our guests at Spaghetti Warehouse restaurants to join us in this meaningful effort to make a difference this holiday season as we support the good work that is provided everyday by these food banks," said Kathy Wan, marketing director, Spaghetti Warehouse Restaurants Inc. Wan noted that Spaghetti Warehouse recently achieved its goal of helping to feed 15,000 people across the country through its donation of spaghetti to food banks in each of the markets served by its restaurants. Now, she says, Spaghetti Warehouse is joining with Flat Top Grill and Stir Crazy to provide 30,000 meals through this campaign.
