CAMARILLO, CA--(Marketwired - Dec 18, 2013) - Sauer Energy Inc.® ("SEI") (
Sauer Energy has embarked on an aggressive production plan for the WindRider model, which is the core design that SEI acquired when purchasing the Helix Wind intellectual property in 2012. There has been considerable interest worldwide and SEI plans to tap into this already proven market.
Intensive performance testing was completed and other evaluations were done in controlled testing environments. The testing validated modifications for enhancing improvements which increase wind capture and electricity production. The Sauer Energy team took much care to confirm the modifications would increase maximum proficiency and also ensure matching of the electronics in the systems.
A production planning review is currently under way and the technical details of the WindRider are scheduled to be released shortly. Implementation for precision manufacturing is in the final phase. SEI is in the process of making certain that high quality standards are met at a competitive price point within a practical timetable.
"We have chosen this core design from our intellectual portfolio because of its economic versatility, and demand in key markets, including commercial, industrial and remote installations. The blade manufacturing process is straightforward with reasonably priced startup and a relatively short timeframe. Formerly manufactured in Asia, we are bringing the manufacturing home to American workers," commented Dieter Sauer, CEO and President of Sauer Energy, Inc.
SEI is accelerating the development and deployment of the next generation of wind energy technologies. SEI's overall strategy is to effectively produce and increase the electricity generated from small wind technologies.
About Sauer Energy Inc.
Sauer Energy Inc. is a technology developer and manufacturer focused on the emerging renewable energy market. In the first half of 2014, SEI plans to be able to offer the patented helixical WindRider model vertical axis wind turbine that employs the HelixWind technology it purchased in 2012. SEI has created the WindCharger brand model to provide a better solution for the use of wind capture for residential or small building use. We believe that because it requires few parts, SEI's technology, which provides a new direction for wind capture, will easily scale from residential to small community and up to large industrial scale. The market opportunity for a new, innovative technology is unlimited.
The WindCharger is one of Sauer Energy's key innovation priorities. With several patents in place and many more pending, SEI is engaged in manufacturing and commercialization now, and plans to see a financial return on its investments.
