Laser Research Optics Offers Credit for Damaged CO2 Laser Lenses

PROVIDENCE, RI--(Marketwired - Jan 7, 2014) - Laser Research Optics, a leading supplier of CO2 laser lenses is offering a credit to purchasers of new CO2 lenses who return their damaged 1.5" and 2" ZnSe lenses. Primarily affecting customers with metalworking lasers whose lenses have been damaged by splatter, this allows them to receive value for damaged goods and dispose of them properly.

Laser Research CO2 Laser Lenses are designed for 200 W to 4 kW lasers and feature focal lengths from 3" to 10" in 0.5" increments. Optimized for 10.6 microns, they are available in plano-convex and -meniscus configurations in 1", 1.5", and 2" O.D. sizes. The firm offers a credit up to 20% for damaged 1.5" and 2" ZnSe lenses towards the purchase of new lenses.

Laser Research CO2 Laser Lenses are available with standard A/R coatings that provide < 0.2% absorption or with a proprietary Cool-Cut™ coating which absorbs < 0.15% of laser energy to protect against thermal damage. Refurbished lenses to MIL-PRF-13830 quality specifications with absorption values of < 0.2% are also offered at a typical 40% lower cost than new.

Laser Research CO2 Laser Lenses are priced according to size and quantity and are shipped within 24-hours for rapid, drop-in field replacement.
