NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Jan 14, 2014) - Reality Crowd TV, a new reality TV program hosted by Manolis Sfinarolakis and Jessica Sun, announced today that the program is now accepting two-minute pitch videos to discover crowdfunding campaigns that will be featured on the company's upcoming crowdfunding campaign to produce a professional movie pitch trailer that will be launched in February 2014.
Each video should begin by stating the entrepreneur's name, location, and the phrase "and I want to be on Reality Crowd TV." The videos should be no longer than two-minutes in length and explain to the American public why their crowdfunding campaign should be selected to be featured on a future episode.
Crowdfunding advocates can upload videos to https://www.facebook.com/RealityCrowdTV, http://www.meetup.com/realitycrowdtv/files/ or any other video sharing site, and then tweet the link completed with the hashtag #RealityCrowdTV to @RealityCrowdTV.
"The crowdfunding videos also will be utilized to educate the public on how to build a crowdfunding platform as well as how to research, plan, launch and market a successful crowdfunding campaign," said Jessica Sun, Reality Crowd TV's CEO. "We are quickly realizing from marketplace feedback that the demand for crowdfunding information is insatiable."
The show's producers are searching for Meetup.com organizers that work with entrepreneurs, startup incubators, crowdfunding, venture capital investors as well as area chambers of commerce, small business development centers and business associations that want to host crowdfunding events.
"In addition, many countries outside the U.S. have contacted us and requested that we bring our crowdfunding road tour to their countries, but we have very limited resources," states Manolis Sfinarolakis, Reality Crowd TV's Host. "So in addition to raising money to fund our movie trailer pitch for Hollywood, we have decided to let the world vote via donations to determine where we will take our crowdfunding community outreach campaigns next."
Crowdfunding is a new finance tool that has become a worldwide phenomenon. Crowdfunding platforms in the United Kingdom and Australia currently lead the pack, but Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Greece, Israel, Mexico, Netherlands, and Spain are quickly accelerating their efforts to build crowdfunding industries in order to create new businesses and create more jobs in their respective countries.
