Greengro Technologies Breaks Ground on Second BP Gardens Greenhouse Project

ANAHEIM, CA--(Marketwired - Jan 16, 2014) - Greengro Technologies (PINKSHEETS: GRNH) has announced today that they have broken ground on the second BP Gardens greenhouse project in Lincoln, California (5585 Garden Bar Rd., Lincoln, CA 95648). This project marks the second in an aggressive plan to operate five such facilities by 2015.

BP Gardens Lincoln is a joint venture between Greengro Technologies and John Taylor/ Lincoln Hills Organics, with Greengro owning a majority share. Funded through private investment, the project will share intellectual property and designs developed by BP Gardens Buena Park and all construction and equipment will be provided by Greengro. State of the art recirculating aquaponics systems will power 6 greenhouses set on 45,000 square feet of property, which will be used to grow crops of lettuce, tomatoes, leafy greens, culinary herbs and fish for commercial markets. Once fully operational, the land will also be utilized to accommodate a farmers market for direct-to-consumer fresh produce and complimentary locally grown crops.

While Buena Park is awaiting final regulatory approvals, Lincoln has all of the necessary infrastructure and permits in place for an immediate launch. The project officially broke ground on January 14 and will launch its first phase of operations by the end of Q2 2014, with full project completion by year's end.

James Haas, Greengro's CEO, states: "We are excited to launch the second phase of our multi-phased commercial greenhouse project and this fertile area of Northern California could not be situated any better. The expertise of our staff as well as the experiences gained through extensive research and development will ensure a successful launch of this next phase."

"Greengro is the perfect partner for this project; the scalable model that has been designed is the perfect complement to our ambitions. They have the resources, equipment and know-how to provide the right kind of implementation and management support that this project will require "states John Taylor".
