FULLERTON, CA--(Marketwired - Jan 27, 2014) - Hidden Villa Brands (a division of Hidden Villa Ranch) will host a gourmet breakfast at 8 a.m. on Friday, March 7 at Morton's to coincide with Natural Products Expo West in Anaheim, Calif. The buffet breakfast will feature Hidden Villa Brand's Horizon Organic Eggs, The Country Hen organic eggs and cage-free, non-GMO NestFresh eggs in custom omelets made to order, along with sliced beef tenderloin, smoked salmon, fruit, french toast, pastries and mimosas.
A panel presentation will take place from 9-9:30 a.m., on the current state of non-GMO food labeling and challenges facing the industry. Experts on the panel include: Michael Besancon, director of Essential Living Foods and former vice president of purchasing, marketing and distribution at Whole Foods Market; Caroline Kinsman, communications manager for the Non-GMO Project; and Laura Batcha, CEO and executive director of The Organic Trade Association. The panel will be moderated by founding member of The Organic Center, Anthony Zolezzi, who will also take questions from attendees.
