CITY OF INDUSTRY, CA--(Marketwired - Feb 11, 2014) - Shuttle Computer Group, Inc. announces a new line-up of ARM®-based, full HD digital media players, shown in Booth #646 at the Digital Signage Expo, February 12-13, 2014, at the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas.
The digital signage market is expanding rapidly, partially due to low cost of deployments; these reduced costs can be attributed to the use of ARM based players when "simple playback" is required. And since these players provide excellent content display at a low price point, Shuttle's ARM-based players fit this niche perfectly.
When these new products are added to the full Shuttle media player lineup, Shuttle has the best media player for a wide range of applications, no matter how simple or complex.
"Whether you're looking for a straightforward ARM-based player or the most sophisticated system for complicated video wall installations, Shuttle has the answer for all applications," said Marty Lash, director, sales and marketing, Shuttle Computer Group, Inc.
With more power options than others on the market today, Shuttle's full HD ARM-based media players include a built-in internal power supply, PoE (Power over Ethernet), and external power adaptor, which adds up to maximum flexibility. These new players also offer an auto recovery feature, which protects content in the event of a system-wide power failure. When the power is cut, these players "park" the existing memory data, so when power returns, the player is ready to resume without risk of data corruption.
Shuttle's line of ARM-based media players, the DSA2Le, DSA2Ls, DSA2Lb, DSA4s, and DSA4e, vary by power supply options and embedded dual- or quad-core processing for brilliant, fast moving graphics and video. Shuttle offers a three-year limited warranty on all its products. Shipping begins in this month.
