SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - Feb 19, 2014) - Talent Board, a non-profit organization focused on the elevation and promotion of a positive candidate experience, announced today the launch of the CandE-Bar, an exclusive community of Candidate Experience (CandE) Award winners, dedicated to advancing the role of a positive candidate experience through idea sharing.
This new network is open to multi-year winners of Talent Board's annual Candidate Experience Awards. The goal of the CandE-Bar is to facilitate conversions, thought leadership and networking opportunities among companies that are equally passionate about the role of the candidate experience in attracting and recruiting top candidates, ultimately helping to foster greater candidate care throughout the industry.
Moderated by Chris Hoyt, Global Talent Engagement & Marketing Leader at PepsiCo., the CandE-Bar also aims to create collective market intelligence on how to improve perception around the candidate experience. At the same time, the community provides elevated recognition for those organizations that are repeat winners, or winners with distinction, of the CandE Award, further highlighting their success in providing a positive application experience.
"The CandE-Bar is a community of recruiting professionals who understand the crucial role that candidate experience plays in attracting talent and are committed to sharing ideas on how the candidate experience can be further improved," said Hoyt. "I look forward to serving as moderator of the high-level conversations about candidate experience and the best practices for ensuring ongoing improvement."
"We are honored to be included amongst such well respected organizations in the pursuit of an unparalleled candidate experience," said Kristen Reese, vice president, Talent Management for The Bozzuto Group. "While recognition is appreciated, the opportunity to collaborate, learn and continuously improve is invaluable."
"At Informatica, we do it for love of our candidates," said Brad Cook, vice president, Global Talent Acquisition for Informatica. "Even though we continuously receive high satisfaction scores about our candidate experience; status quo is never good enough. Informatica continues to push the envelope on candidate experience -- with the simplest apply process in the industry."
"I am so excited to be part of the CandE-Bar," said Amelia Merrill, vice president of Talent Acquisition & Engagement for RMS. "I truly believe candidate experience is a fundamental part of the hiring process, and anyone who doesn't believe this doesn't really care about bringing in the best talent."
"As more organizations recognize the need for a positive candidate experience, the organizations participating in the CandE-Bar take it farther," said Elaine Orler, chairman and co-founder of the Talent Board and president and founder of Talent Function Group. "They demonstrate a true commitment to excellence and improving the way recruiting is perceived by candidates. TalentBoard is proud to host the CandE-Bar as a way for organizations that have proven to be leaders in this space to network with each other, add to the nascent library of information on the candidate experience and spur continuous innovation in this field."
