Exclusive License Related to a Network Test Analysis Method for Sale from ICAP Patent Brokerage

New York, NY, Feb. 25, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- (http://www.myprgenie.com) -- ICAP Patent Brokerage announces for license a patent portfolio disclosing techniques for mining, mapping, and managing organizational knowledge from written text and conversation from Arizona Technology Enterprises. This IP package is available via sealed bid with a bidding deadline of May 29, 2014. Bids for this lot will be accepted starting May 27 through May 29.

"We are excited to be offering for license this technology that could dramatically increase the efficiency of data mining for all users. This is an important portfolio for companies providing solutions for document searching, knowledge management, competitive intelligence, data mining, data mapping, data management, information retrieval, and intellectual asset management," says Dean Becker, CEO of ICAP Patent Brokerage.

Key Characteristics & Benefits

This technology originally developed from research conducted at Arizona State University discloses a network test analysis method entitled Central Resonance Analysis (CRA). This technology allows the user to analyze massive amounts of textual data and automatically highlight the relevant information.

Existing methods to analyze text in documents fail to take into account the entire structure of the document. Most are based on relative distance comparisons of words that appear in the text, and do not model the intent of the author to convey a specific and coherent message. CRA accommodates the emergence of new terms or shifts in relationships among existing words and concepts, as required in knowledge development. CRA is also more sensitive to complex associations in the text than statistical methods based on word frequency or local co-occurrence. Further, CRA avoids the imposition of an arbitrary window sliding over text to locate word co-occurrence. Therefore, the disclosed technology has distinct advantages over other text analysis approaches.

The assets in the portfolio have been cited by industry leaders such as Broadcom, IBM, Arizona State University, Buzzient, and Ceresis.
